I’ve always loved storytelling that pulls you in one direction, gets you comfortable, then throws you somewhere completely different. Same with filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peele, and Ryan Coogler. I’m drawn to stories that are emotional, strange, stylish, layered, and unpredictable.
