Clipping an Angel’s wings

1–2 minutes

To read

Astral gazing under the dim moonlight

Mesmerized by all her wonders and bountiful lights,

In the star shine I see a beautiful Queen,

I prayed for a seed and met an angel

Clothed in celestial wings and pure divinity

Anchored to the lunar floor by my love.

Knowing her flight may not bring her back, she’d take my heart in her ascent.

Too live without a heart?

Or to keep her from heaven?
