Satin Nights

Beneath satin nights

and slippery moon

lovers’ delights

tiptoe in and out

of shadows

chasing desire

with hands and lips

eager to catch

a euphoric high

on the skin

of the other

eager to sing sighs

of sweat drenched love

along with spying nightingales

eager to collide

in stars’ fashion

shattering in the

peeping eyes of morning
